DBHPS was founded by the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi before Independence during the year 1918 with the objective of spreading Hindi language in South India. Mahatma targeted the need to unite northern and southern states of the country in the greatest interest of amalgamation of the nation.
Therefore, the seed of this thought resulted in the inception of Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha at Madras, as Hindi being considered as the national language and widely articulated language. Mahatma Gandhi was the lifetime President of this establishment.
The Tamil Nadu Sabha organizes Hindi exams twice a year and is administered by Chennai Central Sabha. The 350 examination centers are spread across the state to cater their services for those appearing for exams from Prathmic till Praveshika.
DBHPS declared the results of Hindi Prathamik exam for the year 2011. Those candidates appeared the exam can access their results by logging into the official website of DBHPS. The aspiring candidates can access their results by submitting their respective location, month in which they have appeared for the exam, exam name and also their hall ticket number.
